Do you have one or more children in your church who have mild-significantly different ability levels than their peers?
Have you ever struggled with how to teach your Christian Ed curriculum to them so that they understand and learn?
Have you ever wished you knew how to adapt your Sunday School lessons or make realistic accommodations for them?
There is an upcoming opportunity you’ll want to look into! In partnership with Great Commission Publications, MNA Special Needs Ministries and Connect Discipleship Ministries are conducting a Pilot Project to train churches in making lesson adaptations for children with a variety of special learning abilities. The Pilot Project will use the upcoming Fall and Winter Quarters of GCP’s Middle Elementary (Grades 3+4) Show Me Jesus curriculum.
The Project will run from April 2016 through March 2017. Adaptations Consultants will train and guide churches throughout the Project. At the end, participating churches will have gained the knowledge and skills to make adaptations to any curriculum at any level!
There is no cost to participate other than purchasing the regular Show Me Jesus curriculum from GCP and some recommended supplies. Training and resource costs are being funded by a grant from the Harris Harper Family Foundation.

The application deadline is March 31, 2016. Training will begin in April. We hope to hear from you!
