ProFamily, LLC is a mental health agency geared at providing comprehensive counseling services to at-risk individuals and families. ProFamily, LLC is an approved IFI (Intensive Family Intervention) through Georgia Medicaid. IFI is a service intended to improve family functioning by arrangement, promoting reunification or preventing the utilization of out of home therapeutic venues (i.e. psychiatric hospital, therapeutic foster care, psychiatric residential treatment facilities, or therapeutic residential intervention services) for the identified youth. Services are delivered utilizing a team approach and are provided primarily to youth in their living arrangement and within the family system.

The services provided look like such:
A Team of 3 counselors will be assigned to your family.
One counselor will work with your child on self behaviors 1 to 2 hours per week.
One counselor will work with your child on social skills 1 to 2 hours per week.
The third counselor will come out and work strictly with the parent or guardian 1 to 2 hours/wk.
**Counseling sessions are not “sit-down” sessions but rather spending time with the child doing the things they enjoy in an attempt to build a trusting relationship with them. Counselors do not carry in laptops or notepads but rather they come ready to play and get to know your child.
