Often as caregivers our relationship with our spouse gets lost in the list of things to do. How do we acknowledge the reality of our circumstances and balance the resulting tension while still intentionally investing in our marriage relationship?
Join us for an afternoon with Joe & Cindi Ferrini on December 2!
Joe & Cindi will share insights from their journey through 30 years of marriage as caregivers to their parents as well as to their child with special needs.
Dr. Joe Ferrini, DDS and Cindi Ferrini have been married for over 30 years. They have three grown children and several grandchildren. Their firstborn, a son, was born with disabilities and lives with them in the Cleveland, Ohio area. Cindi and Joe tell their story in the 2009 book, Unexpected Journey, When Special Needs Change Our Course. In the book, the Ferrinis share their journey as a family where daily challenges – caring for a child with special needs and parents in their declining years – became a way of life. Unexpected Journey’s honesty and grace encourages others who are on their own unexpected journey. Joe and Cindi speak nationally for Family Life “Weekend to Remember Marriage” Conferences. They have made numerous radio and television appearances and written Bible studies and magazine articles.
