“Camp Koinonia is an outdoor education program for children ages 7-21 who have multiple disabilities. The program was developed in 1977 at Virginia Tech as part of a class with the primary purpose of providing a meaningful, experiential learning opportunity for university students while involving children and young adults, some with severe disabilities, in outdoor activities that they would not be able to do otherwise.
To promote self-sufficiency for individuals with disabilities by alleviating significant obstacles faced when going to work including concern about healthcare coverage and others benefits. Our experts have years of experience with Social Security employment supports such as Ticket to Work and will provide in-depth analyses of benefits and guidance. We equip those we serve with tools to make informed decisions about their financial circumstances and courage to pursue career goals.

“Bachman Academy serves students with learning differences, like Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia, Nonverbal Learning Disorder (NLD), Asperger’s/Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder/ Attention Deficit Disorder (ADHD, ADD), who learn best in a non-traditional environment that is challenging, achievement-oriented and individualized.
